Have you always wanted to give the pottery wheel a try? We are offering Intro Wheel Lessons on Saturday, March 30th!
Our lessons start on an hourly, time-slot basis. We recommend 1 time slot for 1-2 people, and 2 time slots total for 3-4 people. **Add your time slot to your cart to adjust the number of people attending!** This is due to shared lesson time, which allows the entire group to receive initial instruction at the same time and cuts down slightly on the length of time needed for multiple lessons. Most adults take approx. 30 minutes to throw.

Give us a call at (828) 253-8181 $30 deposit will hold your time slot for your wheel lesson. **The total due is $60 per person, the balance due will be paid on the date of the lesson.** Price includes individual instruction and the creation of a small bowl or cup. Your piece must be bisque fired, and can then be painted with glaze during a separate visit to the studio (included in cost.) If you are not local we can paint your piece the glaze color of your choosing and ship your piece to you. (Shipping charges are $15 per address.)
Before Your Lesson:
- Please note, long nails and/or jewelry may affect your ability to throw. They can scrape into your clay or cause difficulty when using certain techniques.
- Clay is messy! While it will wash out of clothing, we recommend wearing clothes you’re comfortable getting dirty. Folks with long hair should tie it back to avoid it falling in your face or getting in the clay.
No-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of the event will forfeit the deposit(s), cancellations made 48 hours in advance will receive store credit for the amount deposited. Cancellations made before the 48 hour time period may opt for a full cancellation, store credit, or may move to a new date (you may move your lesson only once.)
