Have you always wanted to give the pottery wheel a try?

We are offering Intro Wheel Lessons on Saturday, January 21st. Each time slot allows a wheel lesson for ONE person. For more than 1 person, you must select a time slot for each person. (Exception: If you have 3 attendees you will most likely only need 2 hours/2 time slots, due to shared instruction time.) Have a larger group you’d like to schedule? Give us a call at (828) 253-8181

$25 deposit will hold your time slot for your wheel lesson. The total due is $55 per person, the balance due will be paid on the date of the lesson. Price includes individual instruction and the creation of a small bowl or cup. Your piece must be bisque fired, and can then be painted with glaze during a separate visit to the studio. If you are not local we can paint your piece the glaze color of your choosing and ship your piece to you. (Shipping charges are $15 per address.)

Before Your Lesson:

• Masks are required during your lesson. We highly recommend masks that will stay securely over your mouth and nose. It’s hard to adjust your mask with clay on your hands!
• Please note, long nails and/or jewelry may affect your ability to throw. They can scrape into your clay or cause difficulty when using certain techniques.
• Clay is messy! While it will wash out of clothing, we recommend wearing clothes you’re comfortable getting dirty. Folks with long hair should tie it back to avoid it falling in your face or getting in the clay.

(For a 100% refund, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will be given store credit. If you do not attend the event and do not give notice, no refund or store credit will be issued. Masks are required during lessons.)
